No sound at one channel (DVB-S in Germany)

Hi,
I have the problem, that I have every now and then a channel without sound. If i select this channel in the config it will play video and audio. If i wath this channel the sound is away. I had this problem with 2 other channels. therfore removing and reconfigure have helped. But this artful little channel will not talk to me.
any ideas?:confused:
Its DVB-S in Germany with Astra, no diseq switching. Channel is: RTL Television

If you do a short recording on that channel, does it play with audio? If so, I'll download the file and take a look.

The record has also no sound but i will try it today once more.

RTL Television has nothing special to it regarding sound. Which mpeg-2 audio decoder have you set in config?

Yesterday i check it once more. live-tv have no sound on this channel. then i activate timeshift and watch timedelayed WITH SOUND. The record have also sound.:confused:
I tried some audio filters but they can't be the reason. I tried elecard, the Cyberlink codec which comes with the terratec software and system default. And i use the AC3filter which is recommended here.
May be it ist the DVB-S Card, which is stupid.:o

These things happen, and sometimes it takes a lot to get to the bottom of it. The only channel were sound on live tv doesn't work for me is CNN international. Interestingly, on the MVP it has sound.
On the server, I use MPA decoder filter from MPC standalone filters for standard Mpeg2 audio. I stay away from codec packs and most of the other stuff that comes bundled with hardware.

Forgot to mention: I think RTL is one of the channels, that broadcast AC3 audio on a separate audio PID. If I remember correctly, these channels appear as a separate item in the gbpvr scan results (haven't had to scan for a while). You might want to check if you have picked a version for which you didn't set proper codec. Although you said that you have ac3filter registered.

Hi,
I solved my problem with "no sound at one channel".

My (fast) sollution:
- Took a SQLite Editor (GNU SQLiteman) and change the APID to a "non AC3" PID.

WARNING:
- Don't do this, if you don't have knowings about databases.
- Make a backup of gbpvr.db3.

Thanks to all. Was my mistake.
