Hi,
I'm not sure whether this section or EWA plug-in is more appropriate for this question, but I will give it a try first.
1. When streaming is initiated from EWA web interface, VLC process is launched. All is well, but when stream is stopped, it seems that VLC is getting completely shutdown, including any other VLC instance that was open at the same time. Could this be modified so that only the instance which is actually streaming the content is being closed?
2. H.264 settings - any chance to give us more control over main parameters, like video and audio bitrate, frame rates or resolution? Presets like 256k, 512k, LAN, etc are OK but would that be any more trouble to give us an option to manually set those values?
For example, I noticed that when transcoding HDTV to e.g. 460x320 preset resolution (or manually), VLC is keeping framerate at 60fps, which is not quite desired. In that case I would like to be able to set framerate at e.g. 30fps but as far as I can see, there's no place to do it.
Is there any settings file that I can modify to get this to work perhaps?
Thanks!
