My experience with wireless is mixed. I think the problem is latency more than bandwidth. I've had better experience with a strong 802.11g then with the NMT's 802.11n even when the 11.n signal shows as > 100 Mbs When you get into wireless connections, I'm pretty sure the HTPC client will win because of improved buffering possibilities but at the same time I don't think either can be relied upon for HD. I wouldn't buy ANY hardware if wireless was the only solution.

Instead of recording to the NMT you could possibly transfer the file as part of post-processing (potentially over night!) but because GBPVR renders the screen key responses could still be slow. The HTPC client would win out there.

Looking through the wiki I see this line:

"If you are using the CSI to install to the NMT disk..."

Can someone tell me what CSI acronyn means?

Thanks.

CSI is the Community Software Installer and here is the page on the NMT wiki
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wiki/i..._Installer The NMT wiki is a great source of information on the PCH/NMT for non-GBPVR related topics.
