I had 3 recordings selected tonight, all from 9PM to 10. Two of them recorded 1 minute, the other 4 minutes. Kinda frustrating.

I've got a Hauppauge 150 and a 500. I can quick record 2 shows and watch a 3rd, but when I schedule in advance, I've been getting 1 minute recordings.

Attaching logs in case that helps. PLEASE HELP!

The only time this happens to me is if I run out of disk space. The program doesn't say a word about being out of space, the logs show everything is A-OK (as your logs appear to), but I get recordings that last just a minute or two, if that.
If that's not it, I dunno... someone make the next guess.

Of course, I checked disk space first. I've got 134 Gb... should be enough, right? Smile

Well I figured you probably had, but the computer world is filled with "Of courses" that turned out not to be quite so "Of course" after all, even for those among us who are experts.
Have you checked the actual file sizes by the way? Are they consistent with a 1 or 2 minute recording or are they full size?

While not the exact same problem I had something similar that was caused by the Windows firewall. Make sure pvrx2, config and recording service is allowed in the firewall.

That number rings a bell - isn't is one of the BIOS/Windows/Drive/FAT32 limits??? (says he, clutching at straws)

FYI, this drive (My D: drive) is 1Tb, with 134GB (Now 145Gb I cleaned out a few things) free.

Other recordings... when only one show is recording... seem ok. It only seems to be when I do more than one pre-scheduled recordings.

If I am in TV guide, and quick record shows that are currently on, these seem to work.

Also, the file size of 32Mb for a hour long show seem to match 1-4 minutes.

I notice you have your recordings path specified by unc path rather than drive letter. any reason why? This shouldn't be a problem per se, but nothing else stands out in your logs.

Helps for my client... which isn't active... but will be someday. Also, in case I need to switch the drive out, or something. Never was a problem. This happened recently, but of course I don't know what I did to change things.

This is still happening, and it's turning into a major issue.

More info after the image.

Here's the time on the first 4 shows listed here:
Fringe: 88.1Mb - 0:2:59 (h:mConfuseds)
The Office: 87.3Mb - 0:2:58 (h:mConfuseds)
FlashForward: 915.2Mb - 0:31:07 (h:mConfuseds)
Trauma: 398.3Mb - 0:13:32 (h:mConfuseds)

All times were taken from VLC, so it includes commercials. It's not a comskip thing.

You can also see my D: drive has 144 Gb (not MB, but GB) free. It's a 1Tb drive. I was having this issue when I had 135Gb free, and removed a bunch of unneeded files, but even with the added 10Gb I'm having this issue.

I'm enclosing my logs.

I will do whatever testing is necessary and provide any information to resolve this issue. You can see my current stats in my sig.

I recently added fans to the system, and that seems to be keeping it cooler, so I don't think it's overheating... but I didn't have short record times when it was hot. I only added the fans when I replaced a faulty AverMedia 150 tuner card with a Hauppauge 500.

PLEASE HELP!!!
