Hi

I have just installed GBPVR....

I had to install another video card to get rid of the VMR9 error...

No, when I go to watch live tv I have great sound, but the screen is black... no picture what so ever...

what do I need to tweak???

Did you select decoders from the drop down lists for Video Decoder and Audio Decoder on the Playback tab of Config. Leaving these on system default is not recommended.

As you said it was a clean Windows install you may not have any codecs installed, if you check out this wiki page there are a couple of links to commonly used codecs on it

And no sir. I dont think I have changed anything other than what the ANALOG setup instructions said to do....

I admit.. the sound is good... better than nothing

Ok... when I go to the playback page

Under MPEG2 Playback

Video Decoder says system default and I have no other choices.

I have downloaded the mpeg2dec and the mpadecfilter files and extracted them... But I am clueless as to how to install them

Sorry... I went back and READ the instructions

I had to add the Mpeg2DecFilter.ax through the run command just as the instructions said to do.

I now have picture and sound... so at least for the moment I am all hooked up
