I cant see anything wrong with that .ini file. If you modify the third frequency to some invalid frequency, does it make it past it?

Well, like I said, I was doing a "manual scan" and when I got the to third one, that is when the looping started.
If I do the automatic or the "re-scan", it almost always seems to get past the 3rd one... I don't think I have ever seen the interface freeze on less than "4 of 19". I'd say about 1 out of 4 times I freezes there. The other times it gets up to as high as "12 of 19". I'm sure there is some combination i can do to get it to scan, but then I'll be leaving channels out. Is there any way to take the channel lineup from my Avermedia QAM and just copy it to my HDHR's two tuners? They are hooked up to the same line and get the same QAM channels. Atleast then I could use this until you get the next release out and can continue troubleshooting. Thanks Ranger

You can copy the scan-?.cache files in the "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\BDA" directory, then next time you use the 'map digital channels to epg channels' screen, it'll just show the cached scan results from your Avermedia tuner.

I never could figure out why the HDHomeRun scan crashes. I've found it best to prevent the scan by hitting stop and then manually scan each frequency, exiting the mapping screen with "OK" after each one.
Copying the scan result from another tuner as sub mentioned is ideal.

Any news about this issue? I ran into this last night while trying to setup my HDHomerun on the new hardware. It varies but it sometimes gets to 4 out of 11 or 9 out of 11 during the channel scan but never finishes.
This morning, I found this post in another thread about the HDHR setup application generating a file : http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?...post308339 Since I haven't had a chance to try generating this file, I don't know if it contains all the information needed to create my own tuning request string. But does it contain enough information that I could essentially create my own scan-?.cache file(s)?
