Hi,

Since we've switched to digital here in West Wales, I'm unable to get any channels in GBPVR.

I've tried scanning & scanning & scanning....

I'm running 1.4.7 on an XP Pro PC with 2.5G ram.
Using 2 x Nova-T 90002 PCI cards with proper external aerial.

Bizarrely, I downloaded and installed Hauppage's WinTV7 and that's picked up all the channels I used to see in GB-PVR. I guess that proves the cards & aerial work.

No doubt I'm missing something obvious and any advice & suggestions will be eagerly welcome.

I attached the zipped log files.

Thanks

Robin

It looks like you've got DVB channels setup in those logs (since the logs appear to be showing you retrieving the DVB-EPG).

Have you previously had it working but its now stopped, or some more detail to this problem?

Can I ask a question about re-scanning after frequency changes when using broadcast EPG sub?

Compared to external or no EPG you don't get the mapping column in config so if a channel changes transponder there is no way to manually change it. See :- http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...stcount=13

the only way I could find round it was to say none to EPG source, remap and set teh EPG back to broadcast.

Hi,

It was all working very well before switchover (apart from stuttering live pictures). Recording worked perfectly. This was with the previous version to 1.4.7.

I'll try that - when I've completely worked out what you mean! :-)
What I have seen is that when re-scanning, the channels appear to be working correctly in the small viewing window.

Do you know which transmitter you get your signal from?

Those logs dont seem to show a scan, so do a scan, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll see if anything stands out.

The spreadsheet at ...

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=44389

is intended to generate new tuning files for UK transmitters after they go digital only.
