Hi JW

I just downloaded Episode Tweaker from the wiki as some of my recordings got messed up during when importing mpeg files.

During the install, I received a couple of messages about "already having a newer version of this file", so I kept the latest files intact.

When I try EpisodeTweaker I get the error message below.

This is running 64-bit windows 7

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Ok, I'll take a look at this as soon as I can. I just rebuilt my maching, so I need to setup my development environment. It may take a few days.

Are you still having this problem? I cannot seem to recreate on my system.

I think you may have an old version of the program as the newest version is called WizEpisodeTweaker (not EpisodeTweaker).

That's probably it then. Looks like the wiki link is pointing to the old version.

Sorry, somehow must have gotten an old version out there. Give it a try again.

thanks for that JW. Now my issue is

File name: 'C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\config.xml'
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options,

I am running win7-64 bit so my gbpvr folder is c:\program files (x86)\devnz\gbpvr

Ok, can you give this a try. There is a WizEpisodeTweaker AND a WizUiHelper.DLL. The DLL goes in gbpvr/plugins/common (you may have to shut down your recording service to copy it in).

Copy those two files in, run it and post your logs (even if it works, I'd like to see the result).

I'm gonna have to break down and get Windows 7 I think. There are enough differences that I'm finding some code works differently between the two and I am unable to recreate some of the issues folks are running into....
