Hi, is there is any way to configure "My Computer" in Directories section of Configuration dialog. I'd like to browse any location: network, drives and so on from Video, Photos and other libraries. Thanks.

No, thats not possible. It will not browse networks etc. You can add a root directory of your drives though.

Thanks for reply first of all. It seems to me an important missing functionality. For example I insert removable drive with photos or something else. Drive letter is automatically assighed by Windows. How can I view this drive contents with GB-PVR? Or what's workaround? I understood that GB-PVR supports command line switches. Does it accepts path together with plugin name?

Its never been big deal for anyone up until now.

Most people have a pretty predictable set of driver letters. For example, my HTPC has a physical hard drive as C: and a DVD drive as D:, and if I plug in a USB stick it always appears as E:. I have a video/music/picture directories setup for E:, and I can access in video/music/picture library whenever its plugged in. You can probably do the same for your work around.

You can add a folder that contains shortcuts to drives that aren't always there. eg, if you have USB drives that appear as f: and g:, then make shortcuts to the root of those drives (when they're active) in a folder somewhere, then add that folder as a location within gbpvr.

You are right, sub. Adding all needed locations is straightforward solution. But you need to add it for all libraries. You may say that configuration may be edited manually to save time. BTW, imilne gave a good advice to use shortcuts, so I can share the shortcuts location between libraries. I still didn't test it but hope it works. In case of removable drives like CD or disk-on-key I think the better option may be command line that accepts path in addition to plugin name. I could wrote a small program that "listens" to drives' notifications, analyzes inserted disk for media type (music, photos or video) and launchs GBPVR in appropriate library. What do you think?
