A new update to WebRadio 2 has been released that incorporates some of the "beta"'s I have posted and adds some new features.

- Support for Sirius Radio (could a Sirius user update the wiki please)
- support for Live365.com (setup documentation to follow)
- support for pseudo Album Art by searching Google for Shoutcast titles if VLC is used for playback
- support for Album Art for Sirus
- support for real album art on Live365
- LATM recording transcoded playback for the NMT. Not really radio (but the plugin is designed to do video too)

Available as always on the wiki http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/WebRadio

Important WebRadio now uses its own WebRadio.xml file stored in Plugins\WebRadio. The setup file will create it with defaults, please configure it to your preferences. If you delete WebRadio.xml it will use your config.xml setting.

Thanks for the update. This version is working only a little better for as before, it didn't work at all. I have configured my webradio.xml to use VLC (whcih I have installed in my D directory). After making those changes, I hear nothing. I assume I'm not to play with config.xml settings at this point.
Should it open VLC on it's own? Even if I open VLC, I still get nothing. Finally, should I be able to make any changes using the plugin tab in config? It is checked but the 'settings' tab is greyed out. I believe in previous versions you stated nothing needs to be done in the plugins tab.
I like what you've done in this version.

Yes it should launch VLC hidden (1.0.3 recommended) and you can leave config.xml alone. You only need to go into Config to enable the plugin there are no settings, maybe in 1.5.x when sub finalizes the UAC friendly version. Remember when editing WebRadio.xml UAC rules will able on Win 7 and Vista. I'd be happy to look at your logs to see if anything shows up.

Appreciate your help. Could very well simply be operator error. I'm working on a partial hangover. Smile
In the webradio directory, should I be able to use the 'myradioeditor' file? If so, I get these errors.

Logs attached.

First your screen shots help the VLC problem, you have this in the logs

D:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe

but you probably want to configure

D:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe

The editor isn't very robust, isn't UAC aware, and it is hard coded to the media\ folder so you need this setting

<MyRadioStations>.\media\MyRadioStations.xml</MyRadioStations>

You might need to delete a zero byte file if one is there.

I did notice that there were different locations shown for VLC and the x86 is the correct one.
Does this xml file now look correct?

You need to remove the comments around the player tag too ie

<player>D:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe</player>

and you didn't make the change to the Saved file location.

Thought I had saved it. But, it's working great now. Some stations a bit slow but that's to be expected.
Thanks for taking time to help me out.
Happy 2010 to ya!

Done.
Please let me know if its too long or (gasp) wrong. Do the other WebRadio/Sirius users agree with the method used ?
