Hi,
In my office, I have a TV that no longer gets cable. I do have a computer that is networked with a computer in another office that does have cable. I can view my computer on my TV. I want to have to ability to capture shows on the computer in the office with cable and watch them in my office. Can I do this with GB-PVR. (I think I can)I'm just looking for some advice.

Thanks

Drix

You can record on one computer and view it on another if that is what you are asking. You need capture cards in the recording box. I think this program will do what you need but you should spend some time looking through the forum and the wiki. Ask specific questions and you will get replies.

The PC with the tuner card gets set up as the GBPVR server. Then you can install GBPVR in client mode on your PC or just use the web interface (EWA, I think it's called in the wiki) along with the free VLC media player. Post up what tuner is in the other PC, as some aren't compatible with GBPVR.
