Hello - this happened to me more than once before. Cured by reinstall after new O/S.

basically ... after many months of perfect behaviour, I get (No Show Details) for the channels (example 52 KEYEDT) where I have recurring recordings setup. And I also have another channel miraculously 'appears' with the show listings called 53 KEYEDT. But this channel 53 doesn't have my recurring shows.

Any idea how I can fix this weird little problem?

It's happened to me before also on a different machine. Just wonderin'

See screenshot.

thanks

This usually happens when something changes in your EPG source. What EPG source are you using?

A channel will continue to "exist" in GBPVR for as long as it has recordings for it in the database ... there might be future season recordings or past recordings that still exist as video files and therefore still exist in the database.

I had a similar problem when a channel here changed its name from five to Five. I can't explain why GBPVR thinks that you have a new channel since the names appear to be identical.

It's possible that the channel id changed in the xmltv file and that would probably cause it. Or if you have a QAM + OTA setup and the same channel is in both EPG files with different channel ids.

This happened to me last night. I have comcast and had regular channels mapped through channels direct. All of a sudden channels 30 and above where missing info. Took me a while to figure out but schedules direct removed all but the first 30 channels from the line up. Thats all you get with regular basic cable. But I have extended basic. So I had to delete that source and add comcast digital cable. Then I x'd out all the ones that I don't want downloading.

For some strange reason GB-PVR enables all new channels automatically for each tuner. So you have to go into each source through config and remove the check mark for each channel not associated with that tuner.

Probably not related to your problems but a place to look.
