Hi,

I have installed latest version of GBPVR ( 09010 ). I tried to configure for my twinhan DVB-T card ( with the Spectrum BDA drivers ). At first I got some channels, but not the BBC Mux. I tried to scan again and I get the following exception .....

************** Exception Text **************
System.ArgumentException: '0' is not a valid value for 'value'.
  at System.Windows.Forms.ComboBox.set_DropDownWidth(Int32 value)
  at b9..ctor(String colName, DataTable dataSource, String displayMember, String valueMember, DataGrid dataGrid)
  at Config.Plugins.BDAChannelMappingForm.a()
  at Config.Plugins.BDAChannelMappingForm.d(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr idEvent, IntPtr dwTime)

<snip>

Any ideas why the exception and if I can do anything to fix it. If I can supply any further info, please let me know.

Cheers, Vit.

Hi,

Well, I got further  [Image: smile.gif] .

I used the all regions / all channels scan and this seems to pick up a selection of channels from both the Crystal Palace and Hannington transmitters - not always the same one everytime, but with a little patience I got all the ones I wanted for now.   ( I also added more RAM to the machine as it was running a little slowly, but I guessing this is a complete red herring ). The exception seems to be thrown when no channels are found in the scan.

However, I don't see any TV in the preview window. Live TV is the same result ( blank screen  - no audio OR video ) and recording produces a 0K file.

Does anyone have any ideas , OR which are the correct logs file to check for clues ?

(  BTW - found time to play with the rest of it and it all looks excellent. - Thank You   [Image: smile.gif]  . I just need to find an Xcard now )

Cheers, Vit.

I got mine working using the Twinhan BDA drivers rather than Spectrums, also I don't think you need to force the frequency to 8, reset this to 0 to let the software chose the frequency.

Never Know, might help
