Just a minor annoyance, but could get bigger if wife has to start GBPVR.

I had to reinstall XP so I took the opportunity to update to GBPVR 1.4.7 and everything installed great. I especially liked the ability to do a manual scan for an ATSC channel just by entering the channel number. The only issue I have is that when I first start the app, the menu pops up instead of going into Live TV. I can use the remote to go to Live TV in the menu and start it from there but for some reason it won't start by itself. I have the "Use Live TV" button checked in config and a working epg, does anybody have any ideas? I'm not at home right now so I can't post logs; will be home later tonight.

I also tried Hoborg's SAF codec but I guess the PC doesn't have enough horsepower to run it. OTA channels are really bad in Live TV.

Thanks
Dave

I dont understand the issue. Thats what its supposed to do. It starts and shows the menu, then you cant if 'live tv' if you want to watch tv, or 'recordings' if you want to view some your recorded earlier etc.

Before I had to fix my PC and updated, when I started GBPVR it would start live tv automatically on the channel it was on when the app was exited. Then if I wanted to watch recordings or anything else, I would open the menu and select from there. Thanks again.

You can always change the shortcut to run:

pvrx2.exe -direct "Live TV"
