Dear all,

some pics now offloaded from photobucket to gbpvr server.

Not looking for applause just making sure it is looking OK, after all I have just changed gbpvr wiki homepage..... this makes me twitchy...

Tweaks now only tested in Explorer but confident they will display the same cross-browsers.

If not ... SHOUT!

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HomePage

pz1 is quite right, "TOC" does not behave properly with Opera.

Cheers

Hi Systemshark,

thanks for bumping this up again. Specifically referring to:

  1. Quote:Guide Reminder
    Slick Skin

I need to give some history here from a quote from pBS earlier in this thread:

    Quote:what's a "Guide Reminder" ?
when you're in the guide and have a reminder set in blue?

    my answer:

    Quote:I think so :o

The text was mainly lifted from Hairy's new webpage, maybe this doesn't deserve a screenshot?

Now this is my embarassment. Now a seasoned user of GBPVR I don't know what I've tweaked over the years and made work for me. I lifted the text for this from Hairy's new text for mainhomepage (are you out there Hairy?)

I thought this was for the 'pre-book' reminder but I only get that with the TV Listings plugin, in default TVGUIDE I have NO guide reminder.

Perhaps a kind observer could clarify because I am hating the fact that the new Wiki Homepage currently has some blank images and I am responsible for them.

  2. In answer to:

    Quote:Record Season
    Mayhem 3 Skin

I'd like to solve the 1) issue first as this is the one that bugs me, screenshot for 2) I think is easy, in fact think I grabbed that the other day.

  3. I still haven't forgotten your walkthroughs Wink I just didn't want personally to do these yet as as I have some Wiki other issues that for me best work from a 'grounds up' approach. And for me that is taking time. Others may commit quicker....
Cheers Sub for your fantastic software.

I think now given immanent new release let us see if that changes Wiki home.

As usual very weirded by the fact that so few people care about the Wiki until it is wrong......

Cheers all

In my own defense, several months ago I did send Steeb a PM suggesting he didnt do too much work on the wiki because big changes were coming. Smile

Big Grin

Perhaps busy indeed Martin, Sub warned me off making any big changes on the Wiki until this release. Nice that the new install sits alongside v1.4.7 for testing. Although I'll probably run it up on a different machine to fully test it.

One unhappy point is that initial signs appear to lose functionality on the MVP. Never got .ts working properly with MVP's but was reasonably safe with .mpg's.

Considering that my entire reason for choosing GVPVR in the first place many moons ago was the fact that I could run MVP's all round my house I wait with baited breath to see what happens!

All the best
