On my dual-boot PC, I got fed up with having to maintain 2 installs of GBPVR (one in XP Pro, the other in Windows 7 64).
So I changed the drive letters in XP to match the drive letters in 7 - and then copied across the db3, recordingsdump, and config files from the WIndows 7 partition.
All the recordings show up and play fine in XP, but Live TV does not work - DVB-T or DVB-S.
So, what I have I done wrong?

Yep, I checked config and all the directories are listed correctly. I only use live preview for watching, so don't use the buffer anyway.

Think I wil have to bite the bullett and reinstall my tuners. When I click on map channela to EPG on either tuner. an error box comes up saying GBPVR was unable to start your BDA device - check it configured properly...
I tried changing some of the BDA device settings, saving, then putting them back and saving again, but still no go. So I am guessing that something in the db3 database is looking for a different driver, tuner name, or location for the tuners. I guess it's not so simple, copying across from a Win7-64 install to an XP-32 install...

Before reinstalling your tuners just try adding one that duplicates an existing one.
I have three sources that use two physical tuners (so I can get a tv times EPG for 2 and off-air for the third)

Tried your suggestion martini123, but this gets more odd - I cannot add either of my tuners. It lets me get to the stage where you map digital chanels to EPG channels, but as soon as the scanning page comes up I get the same error pop-up 'GBPVR is unable to start your BDA device...'
So, if not a GBPVR problem, maybe changing the drive letters has knocked out the Hauppage drivers some how - so now I.m going to reinstall them first, to see.

Re-installing the Hauppage drivers did the trick. I was still using WinTV6 in XP, and WinTV7 in 7, so maybe that was the problem? Or changing the drive letters effected the Hauppage drivers somehow (but WinTV is installed on C: which is still C:!) Anyway alll working again now.
