Hi,

I now got a Nova-T now as well and try to set it up. I configured "All channels" and "Germany" in BDA device configuration. When I try to map the digital channels to EPG channels gbpvr scans 57 channels, there is no preview and I get an exception at the end of the scanning process.

This is what it says:
------------------------begin-----------------------
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** Exception Text **************
System.ArgumentException: '0' is not a valid value for 'value'.
  at System.Windows.Forms.ComboBox.set_DropDownWidth(Int32 value)
  at ca..ctor(String colName, DataTable dataSource, String displayMember, String valueMember, DataGrid dataGrid)
  at Config.Plugins.BDAChannelMappingForm.a()
  at Config.Plugins.BDAChannelMappingForm.d(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr idEvent, IntPtr dwTime)
<snip>
--------------------------end-----------------------

Needless to say that I checked the availability of the channels with the Hauppauge software.

I installed a version of mpgmux as suggested but i do not know the version number.

Any help appreciated.

Greetings
Jui

There is bug in the channel mapping screen, which expects to find at least one channel or it will give this error. In your case its not finding one.

Are you running v0.90.8 or v0.90.10?

Did you pick the right satellite and set the correct LNB settings?

i pick astra 1b and used the same lnb settings as in the technotrend software. there it worked, picture and sound.

when starting the channel mapping the errors occurs, i can click okay, click stop and click restart channel search. the channel search runs but the preview window is black. after the channel search i cannot leave the channel mapping, error occurs again every time i hit "ok" and i have to quit config.

Hi Sub,

I'm using 90.10 and just upgraded my mpgmux.ax to 5.0.0.727.

Now I get a different error upon scanning the channels. In fact it does not perform a scan at all and says:
-----------------begin----------------
************** Exception Text **************
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
  at ATL.CComPtrBase<IBaseFilter>.QueryInterface<struct IGuideData>(CComPtrBase<IBaseFilter>* , IGuideData** pp)

  at Config.Plugins.BDAChannelMappingForm.d(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr idEvent, IntPtr dwTime)
<snip>
-------------------end---------------

Sorry, I dont know on that one. Its a funny type of error to get. Does it happen every time? Have you rebooted since getting this error?

Hi Sub,

i will try to reproduce that second error. But you said that the scanning program could not find a channel and therefore the first error occured. I find the channels in wintv2000 with no problem. Can I set them up manually in gbpvr?

Greetings
