Since there is no volume control in NPVR (yet) you'll have to somhow map is to windows volume coltrol.

Hmm, any suggestions on how to do that. It's a Hauppage 45 button remote, not an MCE one.

I don't know much about Haupp.remotes but I guess you can use HIP, it works with the Terratec I'm using.

Thanks. Will look into it. I wonder when built in support for Hauppage remotes will make it's way in to NPVR?

Eventghost could do it too; it does have a hauppauge remote drive.

these use app keys so are universal..[for use in irremote.ini]

Thanks! I'm now able to change the volume using the Hauppauge remote (although obviously without an OSD).

i know its not what you want in the long term but i used this for a while and it seemed fine if you cant be arsed with loading hip
