NPVR and MVP

Hello,
I fully understand that you don't support the MVP longer. However I have a question. I have all my old recordings (GBPVR) and new recordings (NPVR) in the .ts format. I noticed that I was able to view the recordings through the MVP only by renaming the file to .mpg. Is there a possibility to get the MVP to understand that without renaming the file?

It is known, and they're working on that.

cool, didn't know it would play the ts format renamed to mpg...so it does understand .ts, just won't allow it's play..[probably cuz not all .ts will work, h264 etc.]
might have to dust the old mvp off and play with it some..

It wont play digital recordings from the US though, where you'd normally have either highdef video or AC3 audio, neither of which the MVP can handle.

The MVP can only handle standard def MPEG2 video and MPEG1 Layer 2 audio.
