Hi. i've currently got a Kworld Vstream Xpert DVBt PCI card and it doesn't have a hardware encoder. i've tried using it with gbpvr but it doesn't work.

is there any chance that gbpvr will support these soon?

if not, which digital tv cards are the more widely supported?

No. I have no plans to support cards with out a on-board hardware encoder.

Its still early days for digital, with the current release being the first release to support DVB cards. We dont have a long list of those cards which work yet, but you're probably best using a TwinHan card or Hauppauge Nova-T.

I've heard it has BDA drivers and is the same / similar hardware to a Nova-T (90002), so could be supported this way ?
XP Pro SP2, X-Card, Nova-T 909

Ah, I didnt notice the "DVBt" bit. I just read it as Kworld Vstream Xpert PCI and guessed it'd be one of the millions of noname generic software encoder analog cards.

Scooby is right, if it has BDA drivers then it may work.
