Hi all, I've not posted hear for a long time.

I'm still running GBPVR 1.4.7 on XP with 2 Nova-T cards.
I'm going to upgrade to Win 7 & NPVR next week & want to check a few things.

I'll use a new hd & a new Window 7 installation. I intend to install 64bit with 6GB ram. Are there any problems I should watch out for & will the Nova-T cards work fine with 64bit?

Can I import all my old recordings via recording-dump.xml.

I hope this goes ok or I'll get a lot of ear ache from the wife & kids Smile

When I upgraded from XP32 to Vista 64 then to Win7 64 I had no problems with my hauppague cards - although not the Nova-T, I did have an HVR-1100 and still have an HVR-4000 and they work fine on 64 bit. You can export/import the recordings no bother - just make sure the new installation has the same drive letter/path to the recording directory or it'll go arseways - or remember to edit the export before importing Smile

Yes (I think the recordings are expected to be in the same place, drive/dir)

One thing you can't do is import your season recording setups

Ok, thats good to know.
Its been a long time since I 'played' with gbpvr, its just sat there doing its thing with no problems at all. So installing npvr wil get these old brain cells working again Smile

I think we've only got 6/7 season setups at the moment so it shouldn't be too much trouble - until I forget one of the wifes programs
