Turning off EPG updates

I always do EPG updates manually every few days, but last night my computer woke up and did one (which was a waste of time because my xml files were old) and I am not sure why. How do I turn it off again? It's rather annoying because I don't have my computer set to sleep after a period of time

ISTR early NPVR's error'd to 0200 with 'none' selected as EPG time. (conversion error in the logs) after reporting it, sub seemed to have fixed it.
(well still an error in the logs, but not asking for wake at 0200)

Sadly I can't confirm with the current version as I've had to go back a version to keep the family happy.
Certainly with the previous version, mine didn't wake up for an EPG update when set to 'none'.

I think my question is very basic. I just can't find a way in Setup to turn it off, and I need to know what to edit in config.xml

<ScheduleWakeups>false</ScheduleWakeups>
<EPGUpdateHour>4</EPGUpdateHour>

Am I wrong in assuming <ScheduleWakeups> is like <WakeMachineForEPGUpdate> in GBPVR ?

From memory, in the settings screen, you can use the up/down control for the epg update hour to navigate to 'never' or something like that.

That's it now it shows as

<EPGUpdateHour>None</EPGUpdateHour>

Thanks sub, I must have changed it to "4" without knowing it. Thanks too martin123 I see you wrote the same thing, I was looking for the tick box.

Oops now I see the error that martin123 sees on "None" in NRecord.log too, it doesn't like a non-numeric. I will have to keep the service off.

The error in the log is untidy, but not of any concern.
Earlier versions when it failed it defaulted to 0200 wake up, now it defaults to not waking up - so no problem.

You could also try a blank updateEpg.bat so it would assume it is updating without doing anything

Thanks again martin123, I will see tonight. carpeVideo, actually I don't have an updateEPG.bat, so it updates on old xml files, the issue is I don't even want it to wake up, hopefully I'm okay now.
