New to skins development

Since I don't see any stickies in here with common info, I'm going to ask this question the easiest way I can. Are examples of every possible parameter and value used somewhere within the default skin?

I've been told that working by example of the default skin I should get any info I need. If every parameter and value is not used, I'm not sure how that can be. If there is a list with explanations somewhere, or even just a list, please link me there.

Just trying to find the most efficient route to creating my own skin.

Nearly all skin options are used in the default skin. Admittedly though, there are few things Hairy and co asked for, which I implemented and in use in only their skins. Unfortunately there is no list or documentation for you.

If you have specific questions or problems though, just ask and I'm sure we'll be able to help you out.
