ogg files with NextPVR

Can we play .ogg music files with NextPVR on the NMT?? For me they just make the NMT reboot when I try.

Yes, all supported non-mp3 audio formats are automatically transcoded to pcm using ffmpeg and sent to the mvpmcx2 player. I'd be happy to check your logs.

Right ho, here are all the logs after doing an NMT restart & then trying to play an Eagles .ogg track that caused it to reboot.

Files are transcoded to the Recordings folder but yours don't seem to be working

Is it possible this folder doesn't exist (you aren't recording with NPVR) or it is share and you don't have permissions for writing?

It does exist, it's local & I do recordings with NextPVR just not very often, there are lots of recordings directories & live-tv files in that directory, the only thing is my .ogg music is on a share that is mounted with sharehelper apart from that??

And reply sent. I forgot to ask, do you have a transcode.txt file in your log folder and does it show an error?

I copied the test .ogg file to a local drive & also changed my configuration to make the recording directory on the C:\ with the same no go result & the same error in the logs just pointing to the different recording directory.

transcode.txt was in the logs I attached & they have all been empty logs so it seems like the transcode for me never starts?
