Sub, I ran into a a problem on the Hauppauge remote yesterday when I noticed an NPVR change has caused a conflict of the meaning of Ctrl-R NPVR wants Ctrl-R to Rewind (ShortSkip) instead of Ctrl-D in GB-PVR where Ctrl-R has been assigned to Red.

To fix this would you be able assign a new permanent key for the Red key? All my plugins use Red for something and to lose any key on the remote hurts the 10' experience better. Some MCE remotes have a Red key too.

Thanks,

Martin

I dont use the red/yellow/green keys anywhere in the app, so I've never assigned keys for them.

I always hated ctrl-d for rewind in GBPVR, so with npvr I used ctrl-r which makes more sense and wasnt being used by anything else.

I have seen your message on this but I still would like to allow colours as short cut to functions in the hidden menu. I can do this on the PC but from the MVP/NMT I need you to map the Red key to something other than Ctrl-R that I can trigger on in my plugins.

I've got no problem with establishing a standard for the color keys, even if I'm not using them myself. What keys combinations would you suggest?

I was going to post this separately, but I'll jump in here as it's related.

Can I request a keyboard shortcut that would return the TV Guide to its default view; that is, showing the current time and first channel in the EPG at the top of the screen? Would be handy for when browsing around and you want a quick way to return to the "start" of the guide so to speak.

(Perhaps if alibert is reading, he could consider it for his TV Listings too)

Thanks

I'v missed that too, but I found that Back+TV-Guide buttons returns me to start.

Pressing F1 will get you back to the current time in the TV Guide. It wont take you to the first channel though.

Yeah, that's why I was requesting it. I'm terrible at paging up/down to try to get back to first channel, and then going too far, and then having to scroll it back down, etc Smile

I actually prefer it to remember the channel I had selected.

You can always type "1-enter" to go to channel 1.

Me too. If you're watching channel 99, then bringing the guide up should obviously show 99. This was just a suggestion to have an extra button to get you (quickly) back to channel 1.

Which I didn't realise you could do! Job done. Problem solved Smile

Thanks
