Crashes watching HD content.

Hi,

I'm getting a lot of crashes with HD content. Usually it occurs when attempting to exit live tv, but occasionally during playback too. The PC locks up completely and has to be powered off.

It seems to happen with any decoder which gives me hardware acceleration, which has been Microsoft, Arcsoft and ATI decoders.

I'm using a Radeon HD 3800 in Win 7 x64.

I've attached my logs, any idea what's going wrong?

If you create a c:\temp directory, reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the c:\temp\crash.mdmp, I'll take a look.

Machine locking up sound like some driver issue (and probably separate from the crash mentioned above). Given it seems to happen with hardware acceleration, probably your video card drivers.

Ok, thanks, the crash.mdmp isn't getting created when this happens though.

I'm using the latest catalyst drivers, so I guess I'll have to try old drivers until something works, unless anyone has had similar issues and knows what version to try.
