NPVR - Black screen and no sound on live view

Installed npvr 2.03 on a windows xp machine sp3.
Using HDHOMERUN dual.
Got 37 scanned channels.
NPVR.exe open in fireall.
EPG populated nicely.
Only one problem - live view just shows black screen and no sound:confused:.
Please advise.

No decoders installed?
You can try unlocked SAF5, link below.

Yeah, it's probably decoders. Did you go to the Settings -> Decoders screen to set the decoder you want to use?

tried the saf5 and change the decoders to ffdshow one and still the same

Try downloading CCCP or HDPack/SDPack. I'd recommend the Cyberlink decoders.

Does previewing the HDHR channels in VLC, via the HDHR Setup utility, work?
