Running Win7 –NPVR
Can’t play music videos via NPVR -mpg files
Avi files run fine
Have looked for a setting etc but there isn’t one that stands out.
Have i missed a codec etc

It could be lots of things, but by default Win7 doesn't include the mpeg-ps demux/splitter that some files need.

Usually MPEG-2 .mpg files would play fine. Are these MPEG2 or MPEG1 files?

I have installed NPVR on three separate Win 7 systems and I always needed to install a codec pack to play mpeg-ps files.

Ok, neither GBPVR or NPVR support mpeg-1 However NPVR has a config.xml option to pass mpg files to Window and you show be okay.

You probably had a bad timeline, and no resume or skip in GBPVR

Play with these settings

<ForceMpgGraph>true</ForceMpgGraph>
<MpgUsingSplitter>false</MpgUsingSplitter>
