live preview mode freezes

on a few channels live preview mode just freezes, the sound still goes (happens within the first 5 seconds). its always on the same frequency (i have sky setup on like 30 channels, all using the same frequency)

sky i get really good reception, and it also happens on the channels i get really really bad reception (my house uses so many splitters, i get bad reception). it doesnt matter which deinterlace method i use (havent tried ffdshow yet) always the same results, anybody have any ideas?

If you've got teletext enabled, then turn it off. I've seen this cause these sorts of problems.

yeah teletext is on, ill turn it off and see how it goes.  would make sense its teletext, since the tv stations that have teletext available work fine, and those that dont, freeze.
