Ok..I have just about configured everything on my first ever GBPVR setup. Things are going well. I have two or three nagging little issues I would like settled before I ghostimage my operating drive to secure my setup...
1. In "my pictures" plug in the images are stetched on my 4:3 tv. Is there a way to configure the image size? (I am still learning about the remote control functions.)
2. Is there any way to enter zipcodes other than for the US in the "theatre" plug in? My Canadian postal one does not work.
3. Still can't find a direct show codec that will allow GBPVR to play flac audio. Anybody using one and can point me to the right source?
4. Neat! I just saw while browsing in the forum that I can reassign remote buttons and alter things to make keys work (I hadn't had volume working before). Is there a FAQ section where someone has set out a mini manual on using the remote? Little tips like this could be assembled there. Sometimes the forum responses are too cryptic for newbies.

Sorry to be such a drag on your time. Perhaps after a few months/years of using GBPVR I too will be able to help someone.

it uses the gbpvr background image as its dimensions, this is usually 720x480, if the images look stretched, your menu/video playback will also be stretched, its not unique to my pictures, adjust your window to a correct size, or correct the background image in the skin.xml file.

In the CONFIG utility, go to the Plugins tab, then click on Picture Library and click the Settings button. Somewhere on that screen is a width stretch factor, which changed how the MVP displays the width of the picture. 1.1 works for me.
