Zap2it - updating epg is not working

Error: "your epg source does not appear to be configured correctly. Please check the epg source settings and try again".

I am using gbpvr 0.9.10 on a fresh install of winxp. I tried re-installing gbpvr but am still encountering the same error. I am at a loss at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The same setup has worked on my previous install without any issues.

I tried re-installing to a different directory and still the same thing. The hardware i am using is a pvr-150 (not that it should make much difference).

What does it say in config.exe.log after you try an 'update epg'?

I thought it was the firewall too but I disabled zonealarm and got the same error. Here is the output from my config.exe.log

Hi Sub, I just thought about something now that you mention a firewall. The one thing that's different from my previous install of xp is a content filter software called contentwatch that i am trialing but I have all sites enabled for my logon. Do you think that may be causing the problem?

Well my cable isp has had hit and miss service for the past few days and i have a technician coming to check my connection tomorrow so you may have hit the nail on the head.

Problem Solved !!!

It turns out that the contentwatch web filtering software i was trying was somehow conflicting with zap2it listings updating. I found this out when i un-installed contentwatch.
