New to NPVR - improvements?

Started using nPVR, and updated to R2. Observed a few problems/improvements.

1) There are some audio sync problems.
2) Would be nice if window size and position be remembered when going to and from fullscreen.
3) Hotkeys could be improved by using single keys rather than keys plus modifier keys (alt, ctrl, etc.)
4) Stay on Top is not remembered.

Otherwise, pretty good DVB viewer.

Welcome to the nPVR forums!

1) audio sync problems are usually due to the combination of video and audio codecs you have installed. Also make sure you have the audio renderer set to default and change the default audio output in windows accordingly.

I can't comment on pts 2-4 as I also use nPVR fullscreen with a remote control.

If you have a specific problem please post your logs along with the report (read the wiki). We also have a forum called Wishlist where you can suggest improvements and other ideas.

1. I had really terrible a/v sync on LiveTV until recently when sub added a new setting to force AC3 instead of MP2 audio. Sub's priority is good playback of recordings.
2. It remember the size/position for me, but you have to use real full screen (Alt-Enter) and not maximize. You do have to move the window a bit though for the position to be saved on exit.
3. Hotkeys are called a remote, but NPVR also supports the multimedia keys (play, pause, stop, prev/next) on my keyboard
4. There is a command line option -ontop to make it start on top
