Question about recording formats.

I am currently a SageTV user but thinking of switching. What recording formats does NextPVR use?

I have a HDHomeRun and two WinTV PVR1600s.

Does it just record in MPG?

NextPVR always records .ts transport stream files. This is the native format for digital tv, and modern analog HD devices like HDPVR and Colossus. I also use the same format for analog tv for convenience of consistency and only requiring single timeshifting engine etc.
