I'm running the old PVRX2 version because I exclusively view via my 3 MVPs and love Comskip. I'd like to add a fourth MediaMVP, but can't find a five LAN port router (4 for the MVPs and one for the PC). Has anyone else been able to do this?

8 port routers are definitely hard to find and are expensive, but you can simply connect a 4/8 port switch to your router to expand the number of ports.

Actually, I know I have an old DLink switch somewhere in the house that I used for the MVPs before I went wireless. Never thought of it. Thanks a lot.

I've got 2 switches on my 4 port Netgear and have had them for years with no problem whatsoever. And, my Roku upstairs hasn't missed a beat so I've lost no signal strength as far as I can tell.
