PlayVideo() metadata

When I start livetv after using whurlston's YouTube plugin, sometimes the meta data that shows up is from the YouTube PlayVideo metadata. This typically happens when the video is not yet rendering and the screen is black. When video is playing I see the LiveTV meta data.

actually I've seen that many times in the past before the youtube plugin (I do have it installed now, but have only used it once or twice). I'll play a recording and briefly see the metadata of the previous recording (which really confused me the first couple of times it happened... did I play the wrong recording?). It doesn't happen all the time though, I don't know if I could reproduce it at will.

Odd, I dont see how that happen. Very weird.

Like johnsonx42 it is not every time, but I have noticed it a few times this week while testing YouTube.

I cant say I've ever seen it between the video library and live tv, which should be about the same.

I think I have the sequence

Watch any video with metadata (including livetv) - > Schedule a recording on the EPG an hour from now -> watch current show live it will have the first metadata.

Are you stopping video playback to do these steps, or are they using the OSD TV Guide?

I dont seem to be able reproduce this issue. I'm playing a video with metadata, stopping playback, heading to the tv guide, scheduling a recording for an hour from now, then selecting a show and clicking 'watch'.

Ok, that was what I did for the first post but now I don't even need to schedule a recording. Without ever starting YouTube

Start Live TV-> Completely Black Screen -> Video starts

after playing/stopping one YouTube video

Start Live TV -> Black Screen with previous meta data - > Video starts. 100% of the time.

Can you reproduce the problem not using the YouTube plugin? ie, I dont have it installed, and would prefer to reproduce it with the built in stuff.
