Had a quick search and couldn't easily find an answer - I am having a problem with the 2.3.6 aspect ratios. Specifically, I cannot get 4:3 encoded avi files to stretch to fullscreen on my 16:10 screen.
I know this worked in previous releases, and I have checked my config to ensure that the fill option is definitely 0,0,1,1. I have also tried changing setting my display as 4:3 or 16:9 in the config, but no matter what I set, when I cycle through the aspect ratio modes, the video obstinately refuses to enlarge past a 4:3 box in the middle of the screen. This is especially annoying as I accidentally encoded a bunch of 16:9 videos as 4:3, so although I previously overcome that with "fill" mode, they are now just squidged up in the middle of the screen
Not sure if this is an NPVR or a decoder question though, as I had initial upgrade problems so did a clean reinstall with 2.3.6 and used SAF6. 16:9 videos play correctly though, and I would have thought that the fill settings shouldn't be affected by the decoder?
I will have another poke around in the decoder settings, but if anyone has any better suggestions, I'm all ears
EDIT: Changing decoders and renderers doesn't have any effect.
