Dark Screen

Is it normal that the screen is dark when i'm for example browsing recordings? It's like the focus of the window is off the screen.

I must say that this XBMC plugin is great! Thanks Sub!

sorry could you try to explain with other words, I don't understand your problem.

xbmc has a screensaver when it dims like 25% is it something like this ? in that case no I don't have this problem.

This screenshot maybe helps. As you can see, EPG text is much darker than the options text. If I select EPG, it's still dark.

I have never seen this before, what happens when you select, and it changes to next,timeline, channel..

If I select, it changes to next etc in the background. Options is the same and EPG is still dark.

And this happens on all menu items as long as menu is visible ? I would check for new versions of xbmc and possible gfx drivers

It happens if the menu is not visible too. Screen brightens if I start to watch live tv on a recording.
XBMC is nightly from few days ago. I don't think that gfx drivers matter, since everything else works with XBMC.

you may find if you have your video playback settings set different than your desktop settings( Display properties)
Save your video profile the set it to default and see if its any better

Why do every other menu in XBMC work just fine and this is the only one with this kind of problem?
