Hi Guys...a set back in my road to a upgrading my htpc. After messing around with irblast.exe and irblaster.exe and stuff like that IRSS suddenly stopped working. I have a windows 7 back up but there's not much documentation. Does anyone know if win 7 system backup does incremental backups?

I think that it does incremental backups if you do a scheduled backup. If you do it manually then it's a full backup deleting what was there before.

Also, does anyone know how much space it will take? I read that it will take up to 30% of the HDD space.

It would be great if it was incremental.

Thanks.

I can't help much with your other queries, but I think in this case it's actually that it tries not to use more than 30% of the space available on the backup destination. Once it hits that, it starts deleting older backups if it can.

Yes, it does incremental backups, but every month or so, does a full.
Best way to access those backups is to right click on a file or folder, Properties, then Previous Versions.

Backups will fill a disk. Restore points use an adjustable % of the disk before being deleted.

Cheers
