Hola all!

I have a weeny problem that when I try to access Live TV, all of a sudden I get the following message:

"Error: Failure playing back file"

Now, the last thing I changed was the Live TV buffer dir, but tele worked the first time I tried after that, and from then on it doesn't. Even if I uninstall and reinstall GB-PVR, nothing. I changed the buffer dir to "C:\LiveTV Buffer", perhaps it doesn't like spaces?

Anyway, here's my "GBPVR.exe-native-1.log" log:

And heres (what I assume is the relevant bit of) my "GBPVR.exe.log" log:

I assume it's something to do with the live tv buffer, but I don't know what, or how to fix it! :S

Thanks in advance for any ideas

lol Thanks..! I kinda figured that! But what am I supposed to do about it? That file doesn't exist. I posted the rest of the logs in case it might provide any useful info as to why the file cannot be opened/created. I tried creating a blank file and naming it that, but no use.

You have created a dir with a space in it.
[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]
"C:\LiveTV Buffer",

The log suggests it is looking for a dir that is c:\LiveTV. That is your problem. Looks like gbpvr has chomped the dir name and stop parsing once it sees white space. It thinks your dirname is "LiveTV". Not "LiveTV Buffer"

Dos makes two file names every time you create a dir or a filename. dir /x will show the 8.3 name. In this case it would be "LIVETV~1". This represents "LiveTV Buffer" the LFN name. Try putting the 8.3 name in gbvr config or change the name to something without a space in it.

My bad, I should have mentioned that as I thought the problem might be with the space, I changed the dir to "C:\LiveTV" and the logs shown above are as such... so it's actually supposed to be that now! I've tried putting it back to just "C:\" aswell, but no avail... [Image: sad.gif]
