i think it'd be really cool if you could watch liveTV with picture-in-picture (PIP) or picture-out-of-picture (POP). i dont have multiple tuner cards in my box now, so, i suppose this already exists, but i'm pretty sure it doesn't. it'd be really cool, i think. probably down the road, if/when it happens...just throwing it out there.

picture-out-of-picture (POP)?
ive heard of Picture and Picture (screen split in two, down the middle, both videos sharing same amount of space), and Picture in Picture, but whats exactly picture-out-of-picture (POP)?

nah its not currently available, youll need to ask sub why.

Sorry, I've never liked picture in picture, so I have no plans for it at this stage.

That is POP, as is one large 4:3 image on one side of a 16:9 display, with two or three smaller images stacked next to it.....

If there is one image showing on top of another, then it is Picture-in-Picture, if there are images showing besides each other, then it is Picture-out of-Picture.....

I think alot of people(particularly sports fans like myself) would enjoy that feature, especially those with multiple tuners, but even those that might like to monitor a live recording in the corner whilst they are watching an old recording. It may be too much decoding work for some systems, though....

Yes, I realise a lot of people would like this feature. My time is quite limited, so I just focus on those feature I want.

Also, it wouldnt be compatible with the XCard, PVR350 or MVP.

do you by chance want to display live video on the menu, in the bottom left corner, or perhaps behind the menu instead of the background image?
