Null handle exception trying to schedule season recording from TV guide

NPVR v2.5.9, accessed via remote VNC session since I'm having other problems with EWA.

Selected episode from TV Guide, set recording request parameters, hit OK and got a error popup that dismissed after hitting the Continue button and NPVR continued normally:

Despite the error and lack of guide update (i.e. no color change for new recording request), it appears that all 3 of my attempts resulted in actual season recordings being set up. Pending Recordings show 3 entries corresponding to these 3 season recordings on the same episode.

The 2.5.9 release is being terribly managed right now, but I suggest ensuring you have 2.5.9. the R2 patches, finding some of the new patches and then add the NEWA 1.31 upgrade.

I wasn't able to reproduce this problem, but based on the error message, can you see if this patch fixes it?

Hi Martin, thanks for the tip. Installed NEWA 1.31; some things work better I guess but I still got some weird errors. E.g. in TV Guide, using the pulldowns to select another date/time still result in "server reset before page loaded" errors.

NOTE that I'm still running GB-PVR and NPVR in parallel so I may be causing some of my own problems. NEWA issues are secondary to me while I sort out database import and TS mux issues, though.

I'm still letting NPVR services run and EPG update, but I'm manually deleting recordings so they don't interfere with GB-PVR function until I'm good and satisfied that I can really switch.
