Hello

I have the above problem as stated in the title, this happens 70% of the time i try to launch a channel on xbmc.

Also when it does launch i have another issue where some channels are not recognised and will not play i do not have a log for that issue as i cant launch live tv at the moment.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am using the 12.1 biuld of frodo for faster channel changes that i updated on the advice in another thread and using the latest npvr 2.62.

I am using the 12.1 biuld of frodo for faster channel changes that i updated on the advice in another thread and using the latest npvr 2.62.

I can't help but notice that almost everyone complaining of this issue is using this new special build of 12.1. I'm running the official stable build of 12.1 here, and can't seem to break it no matter how hard I try... sure, channel changes take awhile, but it works.

sub did say he'd be spending time this weekend investigating this, so do post your logs from the NPVR server (specifically NRecord.log and web.log).

NextPVR and its recording service create new logs each time the programs start (and when the log reaches a size threshold). The logs you posted earlier don't appear to contain anything relevant.

Recreate the problem, zip and attach the NextPVR logs folder and re-post the XBMC logs. Thanks.

Please zip and attach the NextPVR Logs folder. The key word here is "folder".

I recommend that we try and get NextPVR working and then move on to XBMC. Record a show and then attempt to play the show in NextPVR. Zip and attach the logs folder to a post that tells us the time that the recording should have started and the time that you attempted to watch the recording (makes it easier to find stuff in the logs). Thanks.

As per instructions recorded a programme at 20.30 tried to watch at 24.00 hours today. but was not possible.
I cant watch live tv on next pvr programme itself now seems to have completely broken

Also i have attached a log if the folder now sorry for before :confused:

Could you restart the recording service and try again. Something in the web server seems "stuck".

Just to let you guys know still not resolved any way stopped and started the service last night recorded some football which has recorded but no sound and live TV just gives me a black screen with no audio.

I tried on xbmc and some channels were working while others not....
