Comcast cable box--Next PVR identifies the device but not any channels

Hi,
I have a Sony all in one PC, with a reasonably fast I7 chip and 8 gigs RAM, 2tb harddrive, with an Avermedia A350 tuner card built in.
I have comcast cable with a cable box going into the computer.
PVR recognizes the device (the tuner card as both ATSC and Qam) but when I scan for channels I get none.
Help please with this setup issue!

Zip and post your logs folder after performing a scan.

Your cable box will be outputting analog, so doing a digital ATSC/QAM scan isn't going to find anything.

You'd have to look at the sticky thread for tips about adding analog support for you device.

You could put a splitter on your cable and run one to the QAM tuner on the card. I'm not sure what channels Comcast still has on clear QAM for you. Go here: http://www.silicondust.com/support/channels/ and enter your zip code to see.
