Maybe i'm missing something but there used to be an option where after you finished doing a channel scan, you could uncheck the channels you didn't wan't to appear in the epg. Seems like the only option is to delete them. This would save a lot of time especially if these channels are also excluded from the channels section. This would make mapping channels faster.

Related to this. Bulk Map in the channels could be made a lot faster. How about being able to "Bulk Map" the EPG Source. In my example all channels would be "Bulk Mapped" to XMLTV. This way all that would be left would be to choose the XMLTV Channel.

It still does this. When you do a scan, you can check/uncheck channels, before hitting 'ok' to save the channels.

You're right. My mistake. Is there any way to do this after you clicked OK?

When you hit 'ok' it'll save the channels you have checked. If you later decide you don't want some of these channels, then select those channels in the list and click the 'delete' button.

The problem is that if you're setting up a lot of channels. If you make a mistake and uncheck a channel that you do wan't (like I did just now). There doesn't seem to be a way to get the channel back unless you do a rescan. Which means you have to go through the setup all over again.

Sorry, that's just the way it is for now. I'll keep the suggestion in mind for the future though.

Thanks for keeping my suggestions in mind. Installing NPVR is very fast and easy. It's only setting up the channels the way I wan't them that takes a long time.

I would also like to suggest an option to order the channels by name.
To have a cleaner looking EPG I rename my channels with the channel # first.
Example:
KCBS-HD
gets renamed to
2 CBS

With this option after renaming all of the channels I can just click on "order by name" and it would sort them automatically. As of now I have to change the channel number under general in order for them to appear in order.

No you don't. Just do the scan, then when the scan completes, right-click and hit "select none", then click just the channel(s) you missed before. Those channels will be added, none of your existing channels will be affected. The same applies when a new channel shows up in your lineup.

It'd be strange to have the channel numbers as part of the channel name, since places like the TV Guide already show the channel number, so you'd end up with the channel number twice. You'd be better off just making sure they have the correct number, and renaming them to names like CBS. This way they'll already have the correct order.

The channel name and channel number are supposed to be separate fields.

You're right. I thought there was a way to have the channel # not appear using TVListings.
Code:
To Change the way the Channel Logos look edit:
    <!-- the type of the channel header (1/2/3) -->
    <NamedValue name="ChannelHeaderType" value="2"/>

1= Channel # + Channel Name + Channel Logo
2= Channel # + Channel Logo
3= Channel Logo only
With all 3 options. If there is no Channel Logo present the Channel name will be put in its place.

Looking over my notes turns out none of those options work for me.

The problem is that here in the US most channels have sub channels. So they are listed as:
50.1
50.2
50.3
50.4
