Is there any way to edit descriptions of recorded shows?

I have some shows where the episode description doesn't match the actual recorded content. Is there any way to manually edit the description?

not within the program, but you can use a SQLite editor. I use SQLite Spy, I've seen others strongly recommend a firefox plugin.

If you do edit it, be really careful of the integrity of the XML syntax.

OK, I installed SQLite Spy and can open the recordings database... any tips on how to best find specific shows? Best I've been able to do so far is write SQL queries to search for a string in the existing description. But this is a bit tedious.
