Been trying to track down why the PVR won't sleep following the update to 3.1.1 and am getting desperate. I have three instances of NDigitalHost.exe running. Is this correct? Can this be causing the sleep problem?

Assuming that you get EPG data via DVB, it sounds like you haven't installed Current Patch 17 (or R1a rollup) from the sticky thread.

the extra NDigitalHost is due to the improved crash recovery methods sub implemented. I described it in the sticky thread, post #3. The tell-tale will be to stop the recording service and see that two of the 3 NDigitalHosts go away with NRecord. The 3rd is crashed and stuck, nothing can remove it from memory. I don't know whether having a crashed NDigitalHost stuck in memory would prevent sleep, but I suppose it could. Only a reboot will clear it.

Thanks guys - sorry, I didn't scroll down far enough in the sticky thread to see all the new stuff! And I wasn't aware there had been another patch roll-up... Understanding now improved, sleep problem remains, however... Sad
