I find there is no "red line" indicating a current recording in the TV guide. Either at the top or in a show box.

(1) If I go into the guide and it is currently recording something - I don't know and may well start to record it - this works and the box turns red, but moving around loses the red indication again. An extra recording is shown on the server status page.

(2) there is no option to watch an in progress recording just a new start. (see screen shot of PC client and server differences).

All works as expected on NMT and Samsung app clients.

client/server logs available on request later when server available for clean up first.

Have you installed the latest patches 4 & 7 both correct EPG problems including sorting out some missing Red problems.

This patch should fix it.

It won't necessarily show the red highlight on a show if you've scheduled it from another machine after the tv guide was loaded, but when you press enter on a show, it'll reload the recording list, giving you the play button etc (and red highlight from then on).

Thank 'ee kindly, indeed it does - excellent sub. I don't expect clients to keep recordings dynamically sync'd, so fine. it was mainly the missing 'play' that was the problem.

BUT... it seems to have introduced a new problem - not major - the 'exit' button no longer exits - have to exit with X to close the window. (sorry about that).

To confirm I tried the server npvr and it was ok, patched it and it stopped exiting ;(

Odd. It shouldn't cause that.

Do you mean on the main menu?

Yup - noticed it on client after patch. Tried on server and it was ok exiting, applied patch to server as well and exit then stopped. 100% solid.

Are you using the vertical or horizontal menu?

Does this include that Exit change that you made for fred250? I never installed it because I never really t like the changed behaviour.

This was the only change I could remember relating to 'exit', but I've checked and it's not related to martint123 problem with the Exit button not showing up.

martint123, Are you sure you don't have Exit unticked on the Settings->Plugins screen?
