How can i record an IP camera in NPVR (like a Vivotek or AXIS CCTV camera)

Hi

Is there a way of getting in to the IP Camera streams?

Would like to record a camera thats IP enabled, i am hoping to not need any hardware as the image stream is already in the IP layer, however i have no idea what to add to NPVR to have this as a "channel", any ideas?

I think I enquired about this some years ago. I did mean to get round to looking at the network recorder plugin but time and circumstances dragged me in other directions.
