The PVR backend does not support this action

xbmc 13.2
Nextpvr 3.29
Happague win tv live OTA atsc TV

I am able to see TV in the Nextpvr program AND I am able to record from within Nextpvr program.

In xbmc I can watch tv, get the full epg etc. however when I try to record it first shows a screen with 5 selections (top 2 are blank) the next 3 show ?0?. (top image below)

Then I get an error (bottom mage below)

Would someone direct me to a solution for this?
I am also unable to find any log file for Nextpvr. Where might that be located?

I was using AMBER and will switch to Confluence until someone reports a fix to Amber.

Hi,

It is a fairly easy solution to do your self if you like to fiddle around a little, not sure about amber but I have done it in both Aeon MQ and Nox and it works like charm, you simply take (Sub's) file (RecordPrefs.xml) in Confluence and overwrite the same in your skin's folder. (remember to back it up and if it doesn't work just overwrite it back again with the old file)

It is located in "C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\skin.amber\1080i", depending on skin it might work out of the box, but else you might have to make a few small adjustments in the .xml file to adjust positions of the objects, backgrounds etc.

My MQ file is posted in thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post474348 , try hat one as it is adjusted for 1080i, it might need some pictures (like backgrounds etc) copied from MQ.

It is a hack and it is not perfect, but it works so I was thinking why not! :-)
