NPVR 3.3.8 Live TV: page fault in non-paged area

Just installed 3.3.8. Everything seems to work, except live TV.
When I select a show from the schedule and hit "Watch", the windows 8 error screen replaces the npvr screen, says "page_fault_in_non-paged_area" at the bottom of the screen, then reboots the computer.
Did not occur with NPVR 3.2.9.

Usually when you get a page_fault_in_nonpaged_area message and reboot, you'll get a filename identified. What is it in your case?

Also do you get the same problem with the Default skin?

No filename identified.
This was in the system log:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000050 (0xfffff68000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000006). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 102514-15562-01.

After my computer rebooted, I tried live TV again with the same results - error screen and reboot.
- I removed the paging file (virtual memory) and rebooted - live TV worked again.
- I re-initiated the paging file (I have a few apps that insist on it) - live TV continued to work.
- I rebooted once more - live TV continues to work.
I'll probably not use live TV while doing anything important for a while. Spontaneous reboots are no good.

I never got around to trying the Default skin.

Look in the windows event logs you should get more details for the error you got.

If it's resulting in a reboot, then it's almost certainly occurring in a driver. I was hoping the dump message would tell us which driver. ie, video card, capture device, audio device etc.

Maybe check the Windows Event Viewer, it may have more info about the crash, and it'll hopefully identify the faulting module.

Saw your reply after I posted, well not unheard of windows system virtual memory doing this.
